Training isn't one-size-fits-all, and support shouldn't be either.
Wilder K9 Training offers one-on-one private training tailored to your dog, your goals, your lifestyle, and the level of guidance needed.
Sessions focus on practical skills, real-life application, and clearer communication between you and your dog, both at home and out in the environments you move through every day.
All new clients begin with a free Virtual Meet & Greet. From there, we'll decide if a Behavior & Lifestyle Assessment is the right next step.
15 - 30 Minutes
A low-pressure opportunity for us to meet, discuss your goals, answer questions, and learn more about your dog and what you're looking for.
This is not a training session or behavior assessment. It's simply a chance to connect before moving forward.
$135 | 90 Minutes
An in-person comprehensive assessment of your dog's behavior, routines, environment, communication, and daily life. This allows me to identify what's contributing to the challenges you're experiencing and develop a clear starting point.
The goal isn't to hand you a quick fix. It's to understand the full picture and create a realistic starting point that supports lasting progress.
Following the assessment, you'll receive your Wilder Roadmap, which includes:
Assessment Summary
Initial Recommendations
Training Priorities
Recommended Training Package
$50 of the assessment fee will be applied toward a training program when booked within 7 days.
Travel fees may apply outside the standard service area.

Your Wilder Roadmap includes a recommended training package based on the level of support needed to build skills, confidence, understanding, and a stronger relationship with your dog, creating progress that carries forward long after training is complete.
Every new client starts with a free Virtual Meet & Greet followed by a Behavior & Lifestyle Assessment. From there, you'll receive a personalized Wilder Roadmap outlining training priorities, initial recommendations, and a recommended training package.
While clients are welcome to begin with the minimum 4-session package, the recommendation provided in your Roadmap reflects the level of support most likely to help you reach your goals and create lasting progress.
Single sessions are available for returning clients as tune-up or drop-in sessions.
New clients begin with a Behavior & Lifestyle Assessment so I can understand the full picture before making recommendations.
Most dogs and owners benefit from ongoing support, accountability, and coaching rather than a signle session.
Some changes happen quickly. Others take time, repetition, and consistency.
Every dog learns differently, and every owner learns differently. Progress depends on factors such as your dog's history, the challenges you're working through, daily follow-through, and how consistently skills are practiced outside of sessions.
My focus is not on quick fixes. It's on creating progress that holds up in everyday life and continues long after training is complete.
My approach is relationship-based, practical, and tailored to the individual dog and owner.
I use a balanced approach, but I don't believe in one-size-fits-all training. Every recommendation is made with consideration for the dog's emotional well-being, learning style, environment, and the owner's ability to apply the plan consistenly.
When tools are part of the conversation, education comes first. We'll discuss the purpose of the tool, how it works, and whether it's appropriate for your situation. If you're hesitant, we'll talk through your concerns. If you're not comfortable with a particular tool, there are often other options available.
The goal is never to use a tool simply because it exists. The goal is clear communication, fairness, safety, and helping both dogs and owners succeed.
More complex behavior concerns are often why people reach out.
During the Behavior & Lifestyle Assessment, I'll evaluate the full picture and help determine what's contributing to the behavior you're seeing.
If a situation falls outside of my scope of practice, I'll be honest about it and help connect you with the appropriate professional or resources.
No trainer can ethically guarantee specific results.
Progress depends on many factors, including consistency, management, environment, follow-through, and the individual dog.
What I do guarantee is honest guidance, a structured plan, ongoing support, and recommendations based on what is most likely to help you and your dog success.
Training typically begins in your home so I can observe routines, communication, environment, and the challenges you're experiencing day to day.
As training progresses, sessions may expand into neighborhoods, parks, trails, dog-friendly locations, veterinaty offices, or other environments where support is needed.
The goal is to build skills where they matter most, in the places you and your dog already spend time together.
Many clients reach out after trying multiple approaches and still feeling stuck.
My goal isn't to criticize what you've done before. It's the understand what's happening now, identify what's getting in the way, and create a plan that makes sense for both you and your dog moving foward.
