Before we meet, you'll fill out a short intake form so I can understand your dog, your routine, and what's been going on.
This helps me come prepared. If needed, I'll follow up with a few questions or simple setup notes so I can see what's happening clearly and keep everyone safe.
This might include things like keeping routines normal, setting up space with a gate, or avoiding certain changes before we meet.
What Happens Next
Once you submit the form, I'll review it and send you a link to schedule your consultation.

We'll look at what's going on in real time, clarify your goals, and map out your next steps.
This is also your time to ask questions and get clear on what will actually help.
Not sure where to start or what to expect? Here are a few common questions.
Do I need to know which program I need?
No. We figure that out together.
Your intake form gives me a starting point, and your consultation helps us look at what's actually going on in real time.
Every program is customized to fit your dog and your lifestyle so you can get the level of support you actuall need. If there are specific concerns you aren't sure about and don't see listed, you can always reach out or include it in your intake form.
What kind of training do you use?
I take a balanced, relationship-first approach.
That means I'm looking at the full picture. Your dog's needs, their motivators, genetics, and emotional state, along with your lifestyle and goals.
There's no one method or formula. The focus is on understanding your dog and building clear communication that works in real life.
Do you use tools?
Sometimes, if they make sense for your dog and your situation.
Nothing is required, and nothing is introduced without context. If you're unsure about or not comfortable with a tool, we talk through it.
Many cases don't need advanced tools. If I think something would help, we'll have an open conversation about why and how it is used. Proper conditioning and use of tools is taken very seriously.
If there are tools you already know you don't want to use, it's helpful to note that in your intake.
What if I've already tried training?
Most people I work with have.
Usually the issue isn't effort, it's that the approach didn't fit your dog or your life.
We'll look at what you've already tried, what worked, and what didn't, and build something that makes sense for you and your dog moving foward.
How long does training take?
It depends on your dog, your goals, and what consistency looks like outside of sessions.
Some dogs need a few sesions, others need more support or accountability.
We'll map that out together and adjust as needed along the way, but success ultimately comes from the work your willing to put in everyday.
I have multiple dogs, how does that work?
We can absolutely work with multiple dogs.
Each dog is evaluated separately and we may start individually to build clarity. Then work on how they function together in your home and daily life.
Is there a guarantee I'll get the results I want?
No. Results depend on consistency and effort outside of sessions.
What I do guarantee is honest guidance, a clear plan, and support throughout the process.
What is your cancellation or refund policy?
Sessions can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice.
Packages are non-refundable once started, but we can always adjust how sessions are used if needed.
I understand that life happens. I'm always willing to work with people within reason.
If you don't see your question here, you can always reach out or include it in your intake form.
